A marriage of alternative materials -- composite clay gilded with aged genuine silver/gold leaf and patinas with sterling silver accents -- my work is often mistaken for Roman glass, snakeskin, or shell.

My artisan-made jewelry is influenced by a love of nature and a fascination with beauty tucked into overlooked details -- Mark Twain's handwriting, garlic skin, a seed pavilion in China, or polka dots from my grandmother's favorite dress.
